On behalf of the National Stars and Stripes Museum & Library, we would like to welcome you to The Second Annual Spirit of Democracy Silent Auction & Banquet on November 6, 2021, in Cape Girardeau, Missouri. As we commemorate the 160th Anniversary of the founding of the Stars and Stripes, we invite you to join us in celebrating commitment and service.
During this year’s event, the Museum has partnered with the Congressional Medal of Honor Society to celebrate our nation’s Medal of Honor Recipients. We will feature their heroic stories and celebrate the bravery of a group of Americans whose actions have defined the words “courage” and “selfless service.” Throughout the evening, you will be reminded of the values embodied by the Medal of Honor and invited to find ways to model courage, sacrifice, commitment, integrity, citizenship, and patriotism. For those who wish to purchase a table for Medal of Honor Recipients, proceeds will go to the national efforts of the Congressional Medal of Honor Society.
Medal of Honor Recipient James McCloughan will be our keynote speaker. Major General Cassie Strom will be the host for the evening and the Jerry Ford Orchestra will be playing patriotic music.
As a $1000 table sponsor of this event, you and your guests will not only enjoy the company of others who share your passion for patriotism but will also receive a Stars and Stripes Commitment and Service pin, a commemorative certificate, membership to the National Stars and Stripes Museum & Library, your choice of a veteran or servicemember being honored on our Facebook page, and an ad in the Southeast Missourian listing all the table sponsors.
We invite you to partner with the National Stars and Stripes Museum/Library by sponsoring a table of 8 for $1,000. Individual seats are also available for $100. We are excited to showcase the courage and sacrifice of our nation’s Medal of Honor Recipients as we celebrate 160 years of Stars and Stripes. We hope we can count on your support.
