Please join us for the 5th Annual Spirit of Democracy Banquet and Silent Auction on Saturday, November 2, 2024 at the Osage Center in Cape Girardeau, Missouri. Doors open at 5:00 p.m. and the program will start at 6:00 p.m. This year’s event promises to be an inspiring and unforgettable evening.

Retired Four-Star General Frank Grass will be the keynote speaker. He served as the 27th Chief, National Guard Bureau and a member of the Joint Chiefs of Staff as a military adviser to the President, Secretary of Defense, and National Security Council. He was responsible for ensuring the readiness of more than 470,000 Army and Air National Guard personnel. Prior to this role, he served as Deputy Commander, United States Northern Command and Vice Commander, United States Element, North American Aerospace Defense Command. His exceptional leadership skills, strategic vision, and commitment to excellence have earned him the admiration and respect of his peers and colleagues. General Grass’s invaluable insights and experiences will undoubtedly inspire and enlighten all those in attendance.

The Spirit of Democracy Banquet will feature a captivating program, a silent auction with an array of unique items, and an exquisite dinner.

Tables seating eight are available for $1000, providing an opportunity for you and your guests to enjoy an unforgettable evening while supporting a noble cause.

For those who prefer individual seats, they are available for $125 each.

About the Keynote Speaker

General (Ret.) Frank J. Grass, a Missouri native, served as the 27th Chief of the National Guard Bureau and member of the Joint Chiefs of Staff. During his distinguished 46-year military career, he rose from private to four-star general. General Grass’s leadership was crucial in domestic and international operations, including disaster response and combat deployments.
