Explore the pivotal Tet Offensive of 1968 and discover the impactful reporting of the Stars and Stripes Newspaper during its third phase, which began in August 1968 and lasted six months.
Event Highlights:
- Reenactor Camp: Experience history firsthand as reenactors set up camp, showcasing the weapons, uniforms, and equipment used during the Vietnam War.
- Veteran Stories: Hear firsthand accounts from Vietnam-era veterans, sharing their personal experiences and insights.
- Historical Archives: Explore original issues of the Stars and Stripes Newspaper from August 1968, available for reading in the museum library.
- Family-Friendly Activities: While activities are tailored for 4th and 5th graders, all ages are welcome to tour the museum, engage with veterans, and visit the reenactor camp.
