The National Stars and Stripes Museum and Library will be hosting our Summer Storytime at the Museum each Thursday at 10:30am during June and July. Our theme this year will be Animal Heroes, Helpers, and Mascots during Wartime.
Dogs, Horses, Pigeons, Elephants, Camels, Bears, and other animals were in on the action to help soldiers during wartime throughout history. We will read about these different animals each week and participate in a craft activity. This program is designed for ages 5 to 10 years-old, but everyone is welcome to attend.
Please join us for all 8 sessions which will be held on: June 1, June 8, June 15, June 29, July 6, July 13, July 20, and July 27. These sessions are free and open to the public. We hope to see you there!
